The nearest airport is Valencia, although a new airport (called Castellon Azahar) is currently under construction and should be finished by 2008.

 

Valencia is approx. 1 hour 15 minutes from Atzeneta. Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2, Iberia, Air Europa, Clickair, myair, thompsonfly and other budget airlines fly into Valencia as well as main carriers such as Iberia, Air France, Alitalia etc.

 

Next nearest airport is Reus (sometimes called Barcelona Reus), which is close to Tarragona and approx. 2 hours 15 minutes from Atzeneta. Again, Ryanair and other budget airlines use Reus.

 

The main airports of Barcelona (approx. 3 hours nort) and Alicante (approx. 3 hours south) offer all schedules lines including British Airways.

 

The main AP7 Mediterranea motorway runs along the coast and is reached in approx 35 minutes from Atzeneta.

 

Main line station is at Castellon, about 35 minutes away, from where the EuroMed (the high speed EuroStar equivalent) takes only 2 hours and 20 minutes to Barcelona central and 2 hours 15 minutes to Alicante.

 

Also from Castellon, coach travel is available at low cost all year round. From the bus station routes go to the capitals of most European countries.
